As a peer education advisor, having access to mentorship, whether as a mentor or mentee, allows for you to continue to grow as a professional, and learn lessons along the way. Our February continuing education session was facilitated by Dr. Shawnte' Elbert, and she discussed what mentorship is, and the ways to establish and sustain a mentorship relationship, along with why mentorship is important to the advancement of our field.
