Have you ever wondered who creates the programs, services, and experiences that help college students succeed? This interactive webinar introduces undergraduate students to student affairs and higher education through the experiences of practitioners working in the field. Participants will explore career pathways, functional areas, graduate school considerations, and opportunities available through the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Explain the purpose of student affairs and its role in the college student experience.
2. Identify at least three student affairs functional areas that align with their interests.
3. Describe common educational and professional pathways into the field.
4. Identify how NUFP can support their career exploration and preparation.

Anwar Cruter serves as the Director for Residential Education for Sophomore and Upper Division residential communities at San Diego State University. Anwar has over 15 years of experience working in higher education at both public and private institutions across the country focusing on student success initiatives , equity-minded practices and student life and engagement.
