Pantelis graduated from the American Farm School High School and holds a BSc in International Business from Perrotis College, Thessaloniki Greece. With a background in Marketing for the Food Industry and Graphics design he dedicated in Student Affairs for the last 13 years, as Coordinator of Student and Alumni Affairs at Perrotis College and focused on Campus Life, Alumni Relations, Social/Soft Skills for students, mentoring, career services, extracurricular activities, events for students and student staff training. Also, got trained as Residence Hall and Student Life Coordinator in University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Athens Kapodistrian University, University of Colorado and University of South Florida. From May 2023 he holds a Masters Level 1 in Training of experts in student affairs/campus life from Lumsa University, Rome. Since November 2022, he serves as a board member of EucA (European university college Association). He is also an active member of NASPA.

Ashley Jost joined the Saint Louis University-Madrid as the Director for the Office of Student Life in January 2023. The team helps cultivate a sense of belonging and community through student organizations, trips, sports, volunteering, Campus Ministry and host family housing, among many other things in the ever-evolving world of student affairs.

Prior to moving to Madrid, Ashley worked at the Saint Louis University's campus in her hometown, St. Louis, Missouri. There, she served as chief of staff to the Vice President for Student Development and the Communications Director for the President.

Ashley is a former newspaper reporter, covering mostly higher education across Missouri. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication from Truman State University, and is (slowly) finishing her thesis for a master's degree in the same field.

Russell Martin currently works in student life at Franklin University Switzerland, a small US/Swiss accredited institution in the Italian-speaking region in Switzerland. Before Franklin, Russell worked with Northeastern's NUin program in Greece and in various student life roles at the University of Arizona and Ithaca College.

Dr Aray Saniyazova is the Head of International Students and Scholars Services at Nazarbayev University (NU). She joined NU in 2011 as part of the first cohort of NU staff members and held positions of a senior manager of the Office of the President and adviser to the Department of Student Services. From October 1, 2020 till March 31, 2022 she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Student Experience of the Institute of Education at Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia and served as a SERU (Student Experience in the Research University) international research associate at the Center for Studies in Higher Education at UC Berkeley, USA.

Aray earned her Ph.D. in Education from NU Graduate School of Education (2017) and MEd. in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University (USA) (2011). Aray is a founding member of the university committee on campus climate and anti-harassment initiatives. She also serves as a NU representative for the Alliance of Universities "Towards the Enabling Academic Environment", a joint initiative with UNDP to work together to promote gender equality and women's empowerment.

Aray is passionate about providing students with enriching and transformative experiences and has initiated numerous projects striving to empower students to succeed and inspire a culture of community.

Dr Niamh Nestor (she/her) is the Director of the University College Dublin Student Advisory Service. Niamh manages a team of advisers whose work is focused on student support, mental health and wellbeing among approximately 38,000 UCD students. Niamh’s background is in sociolinguistics, migration and integration, and her doctoral research focused on Polish children and teenagers who had migrated to Ireland since Poland joined the European Union in 2004. For ten years before coming into her current role, Niamh was the Student Adviser in UCD Veterinary Sciences, providing pastoral support to veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing students.

Niamh is an active member of the community life of UCD. She runs UCD Purl Jam, the university’s craft/creative group. She co-founded the UCD Veterinary Community Garden. She is an active member of the UCD Community Choir. Niamh is involved in the implementation of equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives in UCD. She co-chairs the UCD LGBT+ committee as well as the UCD LGBTI Staff Network. She is an active member of Athena SWAN in UCD. She is deeply committed to challenging injustice, intolerance and bigotry and in achieving equality, diversity and inclusion for all. She believes in active allyship and she is passionate about fighting against complacency. The work of Athena SWAN is vital in this regard, and Niamh is particularly interested in empowering and supporting students to continue the fight for equality into the future. Outside of work, Niamh loves to garden, travel, and be creative, recently taking up sewing. She also volunteers for Dublin Lesbian Line.

Dr. Kerrie Montgomery Orozco boasts a 25-year career in higher education, specializing in international education, student programming, strategic planning, leadership, and teaching. She's held progressively responsible roles in academic advising, study abroad, and campus life at various institutions. Kerrie is also an accomplished writer, with publications in the peer-reviewed Journal of International Students. 

Kerrie has been an active member of NASPA for more than 20 years. She has held a number of volunteer leadership roles and currently serves as Professional Development Chair for the Global Division, Membership & Engagement Chair for the Mid-Level Administrators Steering Committee, and NASPA-FL Conference Chair. She is a past Chair for the International Symposium, and remains active on the planning committee for the 2024 International Symposium.

Kerrie holds a BA in Classical Studies, dual Masters degrees from the University of Florida in Art History and Higher Education, and a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Denver.
